Signing Day takes place on the 1st Wednesday of February every year for athletes around the country...

MISSION: The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) was founded in 2009 to enhance the developmental experience of female youth soccer players in the United States through:

• Improving the competitive environment through creation of a true national competitive league with multiple flights;
• Improving the process for identifying elite female soccer players for the U.S. Soccer youth national teams through a systematic scouting and identification program based on national competitions; and
• Improving the daily training environment at top female youth soccer clubs through developing best practices and training and organizational guidelines for its member clubs .

GOAL: The goal of the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is to change the landscape for elite female soccer players in the United States through innovative, player-centered programming and to enhance the overall experience by creating a better, more enjoyable, and more successful player, coach, and club development model.

As the top players from around the country, including Richmond Strikers standout Elizabeth Ball, begin to arrive at NIKE Headquarters for the 2012 ECNL / id2 National Training Camp presented by NIKE’s "The Chance", the Elite Club National League (ECNL) club leaders are gearing up for the 2012 ECNL AGM.

The Strikers are proud to announce the hiring of Aaron Brunner to the full time coaching staff of our Girls Program.

After a nation-wide search, the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Jay Howell as their new ECNL (Elite Clubs National League) Girl’s Director.

The Richmond Strikers Girls Program has seen tremendous benefits since joining the ECNL. A three part series on these benefits to follow.

The high level of competition the ECNL provides is pushing our teams to higher levels.

The exposure for individual players provide by the ECNL opens many doors.
