Strikers Girls Lacrosse Hires Erica Marrocco Brothers as Goalie Coach

The Strikers are proud and very excited to announce the hiring of Erica Marrocco Brothers as the Girls Lacrosse Goalie Coach. Erica brings a vast amount of knowledge to the club, with over ten years of coaching experience and a very successful collegiate lacrosse background.

Erica was a three year starter and team captain her senior year for the University of Richmond women’s lacrosse team. She helped the team earn an Atlantic 10 championship in 2007 and reach the NCAA Tournament. Erica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communication Studies from UR.

Erica has been heavily involved in all aspects of coaching for over 10 years, starting while she was playing in college. Upon graduating, she worked for Revolution Lacrosse in Boston, Massachusetts as the Director of Marketing, as well as served as a goalie coach and team coordinator.

 
During her time with Revolution Lacrosse, she also helped families with the college recruiting process and mentored athletes one-on-one with their development path. She spent the last two seasons as the head girls Varsity lacrosse coach for Duxbury High School in Massachusetts before relocating to Richmond with her husband Darien, also a former Richmond Spider student athlete and their daughter London.
