Procedures for
registering for the Summer Adult League:
1. Captain or team
manager to email the team name to:
strikersadult@aol.com
2. Captain or team
manager to notate in their email if their team would
be considered:
Highly
Competitive
Competitive
Beginner
3. Players are to
register individually and request their team by name
from the dropdown menu
4. Any players that
would like to participate, but do not have a team
should sign up and choose: “do not have a team”
from the drop down menu
Games may be scheduled
on Mondays – Fridays from 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Games will begin no
earlier than June 17th. Each team will play a
minimum of eight games.
Rosters:
Rosters will be
verified by the referee prior to each game. It is
the responsibility of the team captain to provide a
current roster to the referee prior to the game. No
match will be played without the referee verifying
the roster. Team captains will receive their
official roster prior to their first game. If the
name is not on the official roster, the player will
not be allowed to play. Please have picture
identification available at each game.
Roster Size:
minimum of 10 players
on each roster. There is no maximum roster size
however; no more than 14 players may be dressed for
each game. Please note that the Richmond Strikers
reserve the right to add players to any team that
does not have 10 players rostered on their team by
the last day of registration which is May 31st.
Leagues for the Summer
2008 season will be:
Over 40
(players born on or before June 1, 1968)
Under
40 (players born on or before June 1, 1990)
Age
requirements:
Players that are in the Over 40 age division may
play in the Under 40 division if they desire. Over
40 teams are allowed to have two (2) players on each
team that are 35 years of age or older. No player
under the age of 35 is allowed to participate in the
Over 40 league except for spouses of players in the
Over 40 league.
All Adult league players
must be 18 years of age or be a high school
graduate.
