U17 Girls Elite Win U17 Regional Championships in Maine; Travel to the USYSA National Championships in Dallas, Texas later in July. 

 

US Youth Soccer Regional Championships update:

 

July 3: Girls U17 WIN Regional Championship 2-0 over FC Delco.   The girls move on to the National Championships in Texas later in July.

 

July 2:  With a 3-0 Win the Girls U17 advance to tomorrows USYSA National Championship Series Regional Finals and will take on the FC Delco from Pennsylvania.

 

July 1:  U17 Girls win 2-1 over Penns Forest and advance to tomorrows Semi-Final to be played at 10:30 AM against the Wall Strikers from New Jersey.  The U15 Boys finished group play 0-1-2 losing 0-2 to the Bethesda Roadrunners.

 

June 30:  U17 Girls win 10-0 against Coastal Soccer Club from Maine In first round regional play this afternoon.  U15 Boys tied their second Regional Game 11 with the West Virginia Rowdies. 

 

June 29:  U17 Girls win 8-0 in first game of Regional Championships; defeating Capital Soccer from Vermont.  Boys lose Friday's game 2-0 to Seascoast United from New Hampshire.  Both teams play again on Saturday with the boys playing at 8am and the girls play at 3pm.

 

June 28 - Richmond Strikers U15 Boys and U17 Girls begin US Youth Soccer National Championships' Regional Play in Maine on Friday.  U17 Girls playing the Vermont State Champions at 8am and the U15 Boys playing at 1:15pm vs. New Hampshire.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Welcome to the Richmond Strikers! The Richmond Strikers Soccer Club is a 501C(3) non-profit corporation and has been providing soccer programs in Richmond for 26 years. Over the years, Strikers has grown to be the area’s largest non-profit club offering a variety of soccer programs for all ages. In March 2006, the Richmond Strikers merged with VA CASL creating one of the largest clubs in Virginia and the nation, and an organization that serves a broad geographic range covering the western and eastern parts of Richmond . Striker Park , located in the heart of Short Pump, is one of the country’s top youth soccer facilities and home to a state-of-the-art Nike turf field. Plans are underway to develop another soccer complex in the eastern part of Richmond on land that was donated to the Strikers. Strikers host several large annual tournaments including the prestigious Jefferson Cup which brings in over $8 million to the Richmond area. For all its accomplishments, the Richmond Strikers has been named one of 45 Nike Premier Clubs in America .
